Our blog provides readers with both affordable shopping advice and tips for saving money when it comes to living stylishly well (without breaking the bank). Wherever possible we try our best not only to provide great beauty tutorials but also product reviews for products that are worth buying.

Founder of Style bliss

Style bliss was originally founded by Julia Bogg as her personal blog in 2012 to provide fashion and beauty tips that were both budget friendly and stylish. In 2013 she teamed up with blogger turned stylist Cheryl Caswell to create content for the site’s audience which consisted mainly of 20 somethings from all over North America who wanted advice on how to live well without breaking their bank account (hence our slogan).

A year later they added freelance writer Kenza Reidy when she approached them about writing more articles on Style and Style.com contacted Style Bliss to be featured as one of the StyleBliss Top Beauty Bloggers on her list!

There are a number of ways to save when you’re shopping, so it’s important not to overspend on items that aren’t worth the price. The trick is finding something stylish and new for less than what everyone else pays.

Trick one:

The first thing I do before any trip to the mall or store is head online and check out magazines, blogs, and other similar sites for designer finds that will be going on sale soon, usually in early-to-mid summer. With every guy comes an opportunity to sell your old clothes at consignment shops like Style Encore here in LA! That way everything gets reused instead of thrown away as waste. Plus they offer free pickup service which saves time and gas money!

Trick two:

In-store shopping also has its bonuses. Ever heard of a sample sale? These are usually hosted in New York City or Los Angeles twice a year (January/February) where you can go from store to store looking for your favorite designers’ clothes that the public just won’t know about yet often with 50% off prices!

Then there’s eBay, another fantastic option if you’re willing to put up with some wear & tear on items like clothes and shoes. I scored this gorgeous Chanel dress for only $200 dollars which would have cost $2500 in a store.

Get the best deals when buying online

I’ve also found that I get the best deals when buying clothes online, especially when they’re on sale or clearance! Keep your eyes peeled because some of these designers release new lines every week so what’s discounted today may be gone tomorrow.

This way you’ll always have access to insider information on upcoming sales as well as discounts through their employee discount cards!
