Photographer mcallen tx. Photo essay.
I really like the idea of the title of this article. I love photography. I love being able to look at something, snap a picture, and get back the memory of it. That sounds really, really cool.
So when the title says “photography”, it means that this article is very much about photography. The idea that you can look at something, snap a picture, and get back the memory of it; that seems really cool.
Photography seems to be one of those subjects that people often get mixed up about and sometimes get caught up in the argument of whether a particular subject is art or not. For example, I don’t think photography is art, but I do think a lot of people do think it is because when you see the photos of a person taking a photo, that person is somehow in some way “artistic” or “creative”, but not everyone agrees that they are.
Most of the time the question of whether photography is art or not is really a question of whether we have a concept of art or not. We can say that the subject matter of a photograph is art because at some point in time, the photographer intended to convey a particular message. But that doesn’t mean that the subject matter is art.
Photography is art because it takes a moment to capture a moment in time, and that moment is the essence of art. The beauty of photography is that it is subjective. The subject matters. You can’t tell a photographer what he’s looking at because he has no concept of art. You can tell him that a person is wearing a hat with the word “hat” in it because that’s how we talk about photography.
This is the only video from the photoshoot that i could find online. You can check it out for yourself on my photoshoot page.
A few years back, there was a photo contest called “Photography”. It was for 3rd year art/design students to submit their work. I remember one of the first entries being a picture of a “screaming” cat in a red dress. The people who entered this contest were given the goal of capturing the essence of art. They were given an art “book” that was basically an art book with a bunch of pictures that were similar to the artist’s work.
The photography was a bit weird because one of the rules in the contest was that you could only enter 3 pictures if you were not already in a final year of art school. That was in 2008, and I was already in art school in 2008. I was also not aware of the contest, so I didn’t realize the rules were a little different then.
Photography, like art, is a style of art. Some of the pictures were not that good. The art book was an excuse for them to show off their art to other people.
