We have been hosting weddings and events for the last 10 years. We started out as a one-person staff and have grown exponentially in that time. We love to work with photographers that are really committed and know how to put quality together, and we are able to take care of everything from the food to the photography.
While we have had the pleasure of working with a number of photographers over the years, the best wedding photography we’ve ever done was with a photographer that we’ve worked with for years, David Leinbach. He had the ability to take the best photos possible and we were able to do that for our wedding and events. When we started out, we had one camera.
When you take an event photography shoot, especially one that’s been in the planning stages for a long time, the photographer’s expectations go up significantly. While the photographer may not be able to deliver the best images, the photographer has a lot of expectations. The photographer knows what the client wants and the photographer is able to deliver that. As a result the client will be happy with the images and the client will be less stressed when they have to deal with the photographer.
Another benefit to shooting at a wedding is that the photographer is able to make the entire experience seamless. The photographer can be there with the client to help them find the right venue, location, and vendors, while also shooting the day’s events so the client can get the shots they want. The photographer can also take the client on a tour of the wedding venue, taking photos to show them how the venue will look in the future.
With a wedding photographer, you can also take photos of the flowers, food, and decorations. These images are often used in advertising and on websites (for instance, to promote products) to sell the same type of thing at a lower price.
The price to take photos of events is often linked to the number of people in attendance. While this is a good way to start the day, it’s not the most efficient way of pricing. Having an event photographer charge an hourly rate and take multiple photos (at different times) can create a very expensive day for the client. Many photographers are very good at taking as many photos as they can, without charging a ton of money.
If you want to promote an item or service to sell the same thing at a lower price, then you’ll want to price it so the price per person is higher. This will make it more attractive for people to purchase from you and lower your sales commission as a result. Most photographers will charge a little more but will charge less if they can have more people in attendance. If you want more people in attendance, then you’ll need to charge more.
The problem is the photographer can’t. If you charge more, it will be seen as a mark of you as a seller. And a buyer will probably balk at that and think, “So you’re an asshole?” or “I can’t afford this, it’s too expensive.” You could argue that you are an asshole because you don’t want to sell. But that’s the wrong reason to charge more.
The right reasons are always worth it. If a photographer wants to charge more, they should charge more. However, there is a better way. If you want to charge less, but you want to charge the same price for more people, youll need to charge less. I know this because I once ran a photography event and charged my clients the same price for more people, and they loved it.
The reason is simple. The more people you have, the higher you are able to charge them. If you are selling a single large group, you can charge more. If you have thousands of people, you can charge less. But I think what we should have done is just charged everyone the same price and used the extra money to put on the more expensive of the two packages (the smaller group). That way, you would have made more money, but you would have also spent less.
