I had a long-standing fascination with photography as a child. I didn’t like to focus on the negatives and the art, I just loved the way images felt when I was exploring them.
I was in junior high when I had the dream of being on a photography crew with a friend, and we went to the bookstore together and I picked up some of the most amazing books on photography. I would often stay in the stacks of the bookstores, and I would look through the books and look at the frames and stare at the photos and think, “Is this real or is it a dream? Is this real or is it a dream?”.
I think that’s why so many of us feel we can’t be truely ourselves. I think it’s because we focus so much on the negatives and the art we can’t focus on the positives. We’re afraid if we focus on our positives we’ll fall to our negative.
It’s the same thing with photography. We’re afraid to take good photos. We’re afraid of putting a good photo in front of our friends. We’re afraid to be honest. We’re afraid to be ourselves.
I think the truth is that we should be free to be ourselves but the truth is that the only time we should be afraid of anything is when we are afraid of what others think about us. In our society we are taught to always be the hero, the hero on our side, the one who believes that everyone should be accepted and loved. The idea is we must always be a good person, but what that means is that we must take care of our own self in the process.
So, in a sense, we are being taught to take care of ourselves but we are not being taught to take care of the people that we love, the people that we might be afraid of. By taking care of ourselves we are not taking care of the people that we love.
The idea of taking care of our own self has more to do with self-awareness than anything else. There are two ways we can take care of ourselves. One is to take care of our own body, the other is to take care of our own mental well-being. The first is more passive in nature. We only take care of ourselves when we’re in action. The second is more active, which means we have to think about our thoughts.
The idea of taking care of our own mental well-being is more like taking care of an appliance, rather than a human being. Some appliances just do what they are supposed to do. Other appliances have minds and emotions that can be controlled. Many appliances in our modern lives are controlled by our own thoughts, emotions, and actions. The idea of taking care of our mental well-being is like taking care of our own body, which is why it sounds so passive.
You can’t just sit around and do nothing. You can’t stop worrying about your mental well-being. It’s something that you have to be careful with. We all have days where our mind just won’t stop worrying about a particular thing or situation. It’s like worrying about your health, but it’s a much more serious thing. Your body is a complicated thing and your mental well-being is a complicated thing.
The way our minds work is that we don’t actually have to worry about our well-being. We just have to think about our well-being and be aware of our mind’s activity. We can even think about what we want to do today and worry less about it and focus more on what’s going to happen tomorrow.
