Music is Art, Listen with Open Ears

In a world where we are constantly surrounded by music, it is easy to take for granted the art that can be found in every genre. The blog posts of this site will explore how different genres have shaped our lives and what kind of effect they have on us. This first post will start with the basics – listening to music with open ears.

The next few blogs will explore some more complicated things like why certain genres evoke such strong emotions or how artists use their songs to tell a story. There are so many ways that people connect through sound, and it is important to keep an open mind when experiencing new sounds.

The music we listen to is a form of art. It can be soothing, it can make us want to dance, or it may even give us chills. I know that when I hear a song for the first time and it speaks to me in some way, I will never forget that moment. And then there are songs that just leave you feeling an inexplicable sense of love and happiness.

Today’s blog post is all about those moments where music has moved you in some way – either through lyrics or melodies- and what your favorite type of song might say about who you are as a person! The newest music blog to hit the scene is The Latest Music. They are your go-to spot for new, breaking news about artists and their latest releases.

Music has been a form of art for centuries

Music has been a form of art for centuries, and it is one that will always be appreciated. For those who have the talent to create music, they can take comfort in knowing that their effort will not go unnoticed. The best way for artists to get noticed is by being able to produce quality work consistently over time; with this in mind, musicians should keep practicing and never give up on their dreams.

In the past, music was seen as a way to communicate with God and share one’s feelings or beliefs. Nowadays, it is used in many different ways and it seems like every day there are new styles being created. Making your own music can be hard if you don’t know how to play an instrument or write lyrics. Luckily, there are lots of websites out there that offer tutorials on how to make great sounding tracks without all the hassle!

There are many types of music, including classical and pop

Classical music is typically associated with the upper classes and high society. Pop music, on the other hand, is usually considered to be a lower class form of music. But what if we are all wrong? What if there was no difference between classical and pop because they both have their own merits?

Classical music is often performed by orchestras and typically has a more somber sound. Pop music, on the other hand, usually features a lead vocalist backed up by instruments like guitars or pianos. Classical pieces are often written for specific times of day, such as morning or evening.

The most important thing is to listen with open ears

I just wanted to take a moment and talk about how important it is to listen with an open ear. I know that not everyone will have the same opinion on the subject, but I feel like listening is one of the most important things you can do in any situation. It’s so easy to get caught up in your own thoughts or feelings and forget what other people are trying to say, but really taking a step back from yourself can really help put things into perspective. Whether it be at work, home life, friendships, etc., try putting more emphasis on listening than speaking and see if anything changes!

You should never judge a book by its cover

The phrase “don’t judge a book by its cover” has been around for decades. It’s become such an overused cliché that people barely think about the meaning before they say it, but do you really know what the phrase means?  The saying in itself is simple enough, but if you stop and really think about it – how can we not judge something when judging is all we do as humans?  Every day of our lives we are constantly making judgments: who to talk to at lunch; which clothes to wear; what our favorite color is. We make these judgments based on our own personal preferences or because someone tells us that one thing is better than another.

1. “Pumped Up Kicks” by Foster the People

The song “Pumped Up Kicks” by Foster the People has been a favorite among music fans for months now. I’ve listened to it on repeat while driving, cleaning my room, and writing blog posts. You know you’re hooked when you hear the intro riff and it instantly puts a smile on your face every time. It’s an upbeat tune that’ll have you moving your feet in no time!

The lyrics reference the Columbine shooting, where two students shot twelve other people to death before killing themselves. It’s not clear whether this was a premeditated attack or if it was the result of depression that had been building for years but finally reached its breaking point.  In any case, we are left wondering what could have driven these boys to such madness.

2. “I Gotta Feeling” by Black Eyed Peas

I gotta feel, yeah I got this feeling that something’s about to happen. Yeah! This is the perfect song for when you’re at a bar or club and you’ve had one too many drinks and your friends are telling you to go home but you don’t want to because everything is going so well with the person next to you and it feels like all of this might just be worth it. There’s nothing more exciting than when things are finally turning around in your life after being stuck on pause for so long.

The song was released in 2009 and became one of the top singles of all time as well as being ranked number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for nine consecutive weeks. The lyrics are about how listeners should “join together” to make the world a better place, which can be interpreted in different ways depending on what you want to get out of it. Personally, I think it means coming together like never before and fighting against injustice so that we can all live peacefully.

3. “Get Lucky” by Daft Punk ft. Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers

The song “Get Lucky” by Daft Punk ft. Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers is a feel good, funky track that has been on repeat for the past few days. The catchy tune includes lyrics about how lucky the listener is to have found someone special in their life and just how much they love being around them.  This upbeat dance track is sure to get you out of your seat and onto the dance floor!

“Get Lucky” by Daft Punk ft. Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers is a song that has been in the top of the charts for weeks now and it’s not hard to see why. The catchy lyrics, upbeat tempo, and pulsing beat make this song impossible to resist. “The game of love is tough enough as it is,” they sing at one point, but if you’re feeling lucky then all you need are these simple steps: “Dance your cares away.”

4. “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars

“Uptown Funk” is a song by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars that has been featured in movies, television shows, and commercials all over the world. The music video for the song was released on November 14th 2014 and has since gone viral with over 1 billion views on YouTube. “Uptown Funk” is an upbeat tune that makes you want to get up out of your seat and dance!

Achieving Magical Technology Art Through Sketching

The world of technology is advancing at an amazing rate. With the latest development in AI and VR, it’s difficult to imagine what new inventions will be coming out next. However, as fascinating as these devices are, they can feel like soulless machines that take away from the beauty of art and design. This post will explore how you can achieve magical technology art through sketching!

In today’s digital age, it is easy to forget the value of hand-drawn art. But as shown by this article on Sketching Magical Technology Art, there are many benefits for those who enjoy drawing out their ideas before transferring them onto a computer screen.

It is hard to know where to begin and what you should focus on. The art history blog will provide you with plenty of tips, tricks, and advice for achieving magical technology art through sketching. We’ll discuss what’s going on in the world of modern and contemporary art as well as give recommendations for some magical technology art through sketching.

One of the most difficult aspects of becoming a skilled artist is acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to produce quality work. The key to mastering this craft is often found in sketching, because it provides an opportunity for artists to explore their ideas without having too many constraints or restrictions. Sketching offers an outlet for creativity, experimentation and discovery – all while producing pieces that have integrity and credibility. In this blog post, I will be discussing how sketching can lead you on your way towards achieving magical technology art through sketches!

Many people find that sketching is a great way to explore ideas and create an environment for creativity. It can be done on any paper with just a pen, pencil, or marker. Sketching often leads to beautiful drawings and paintings, but it also offers another benefit: the ability to use those sketches as inspiration for technology art!

What is Magical Technology Art and why should you care

Magical Technology Art has been around for a long time. Early examples of this type of art date back to the late 1800s when artists such as Georges Méliès and Louis-Émile Reynaud used techniques that would not be considered “magical” by today’s standards. Even so, these artists were some of the pioneers in animation and projection mapping. Fast forward to the present day where we see more advancements in technology allowing artists like Alli Coates to create her own style of Magical Technology Art through 3D printing software, video editing software and digital sculpting tools.  The world is constantly changing with new inventions being created on a daily basis which means there are endless possibilities for what can be done with our current level.

How do you create a sketch of magical technology art

I love technology. I am a big believer in it and find myself immersed in the latest gadgets and gizmos that are out on the market. What if you could create your own sketch of magical technology art? Imagine having a 3D printer to produce your artwork for you, or being able to take an idea from paper into reality with just a few clicks. With new advancements such as these, we can only imagine what is yet to come!

Some examples of sketches that are out there

Some people think that sketches are just a bunch of random doodles. However, there is actually an art form to it. There are many different types of sketches and artists who specialize in them. Sketching can be an exercise or a way to work out an idea before starting on the final project or it can be something you do for fun with friends.

This blog post is here to share with you some examples of sketches that are out there for designers. Sketches can be very helpful and give a great starting point in the design process. It’s important to remember sketches should only be used as a guideline, not as something set in stone because they often lack detail or have many errors due to being drawn quickly. These sketches can help bring your ideas together and will make the final product look more polished than if it were created from scratch.

The benefits of sketching, including helping to improve your creativity and problem-solving skills

Sketching is a powerful tool for creative problem solving. Sketching can help you to solve problems creatively, by forcing your brain to think outside of the box and explore possibilities that you may not have considered before. Sketches are also great for visualizing ideas, storyboarding projects, or just sketching out new designs for clothes!

Sketching can also help you think outside the box by using different methods of thinking than what you would normally use. It’s an excellent way to test out ideas before committing them to paper or on screen, which helps save time and money in the long run. Check out these five ways sketching can benefit both students and professionals alike!

Sketching is a great way to improve your creativity and problem-solving skills.

What is a sketchbook and why should you use one

A sketchbook is a book with blank paper that is used to draw, paint and create art. It’s a great way to keep your drawings in one place and express creativity. Sketchbooks are also wonderful for people who do not have the talent or time to create elaborate pieces of art. A sketchbook can be used as a task list, journal, scrapbook, memory keeper or just as an outlet for creative expression. There are many different types of sketchbooks on the market so it’s important to figure out what you need before choosing which one you want.

A sketchbook is a blank book that can be used by artists to draw sketches. Sketchbooks are great for people who want to practice their art skills and learn new techniques, but they’re also perfect for anyone interested in drawing or doodling.

Every artist has a toolkit for their creativity that can help them get the right idea out of their head and onto paper. As an illustrator, I use sketchbooks to develop my ideas before they are ready to be drawn. There are many benefits both in terms of productivity and creativity that come from using a sketchbook as your go-to creative outlet.

Technology these days is so advanced it can be difficult to keep up. What’s more, sketching has been seen as a dying art form since the introduction of computers and tablets. But with technology evolving every day, there are still many ways to achieve magical results without ever picking up a pencil! .

This blog post shares the process of sketching in order to create a magical technology art piece. From pencil sketches and ink drawings, we will explore how to use different mediums such as watercolor, acrylic paint, and digital painting techniques. You will learn about various tips and tricks on how to achieve these styles with your own artwork. The final product is an illustration that looks like a futuristic space scene from a science fiction movie!

The steps are broken down into sections so you can follow along with each stage of the creation process. We will also cover some general tips for making illustrations more visually appealing using light effects, texture overlays, color adjustments, etc., which can be applied to any kind of drawing or painting project.

Some-Rad Artwork With New Technology

Recently, there has been a new innovation with the use of 3D printers. The artist can create an idea in their head and then send it to be printed out on a printer. This process allows for greater creativity because they are not limited by the materials available and what they can physically produce themselves. It also provides more freedom because as long as you have a computer, you should be able to create anything that your mind conceives of!

The new technology in the art world has been a game changer. Artists can now create pieces of artwork that are three-dimensional, and they don’t have to be made out of clay or metal! These 3D printed sculptures can be as detailed as they want them too, with no limitations on size or shape. This is an incredible opportunity for artists who were previously unable to produce their work because of injury or disability. It is a difficult task to find art blog ideas with new technology. There are so many blogs out there that people can go to for their information on the latest and greatest new product. However, if you’re looking for more unique content not found everywhere else, I have some suggestions of where you can start your search.

Artist and designer, David R. Harris is an artist with a unique take on the use of new technology. His first project was to create art from light using lasers as his medium. He has since created artwork with 3D printers, CNC machines, and more. In this blog post he will be sharing some of his favorite pieces that are all available for purchase online at

David R Harris is an artist who loves to explore new technologies in order to produce art that no one else can do! The following article will be about the different projects he has done in order to make something out of seemingly nothing. Going into detail about what methods were used for each project and how they turned out!

What is the future of art and technology

The future of art and technology is a very interesting discussion that has been going on for years. There are many perspectives to this issue, but there seems to be one common idea in all opinions, the change is coming. Whether it’s an evolution or revolution remains up for debate, but what we know for certain is that the world will never be the same again.

But what we do know is that the blending of these two fields has been a great thing for both. The more artists experiment with new technologies, the more new tech will be developed to accommodate their needs. And as artists incorporate newer technologies into their work, they inspire people in other industries to use them too—leading to even more advancement in this field.

How new technologies such as 3D printing, virtual reality

A new study from the University of Toronto has found that these technologies may be more suited to people with disabilities. The study was conducted by a team led by Dr. David Rosenbloom, who is an associate professor at U of T’s Faculty of Medicine and director of its Centre for Research on Accessible Technology (CATA). It revealed that 3D printing, virtual reality, and augmented reality can help provide better access to the digital world for those with limited mobility or dexterity.

The world is changing. Technology is advancing at a rapid pace. New innovations like 3D printing, virtual reality, and augmented reality are redefining the way we interact with each other and our environment. Many of these new technologies have been around for decades or centuries, but only recently have they become affordable enough to be accessible to the masses. Some experts predict that by 2020 there will be as many interconnected devices in the world as there are people on Earth!

Examples of some-rad artwork with new technology

The digital age has changed the way we create art. There are no longer any limitations to what can be created, and new technology is being used in innovative ways that were never before possible. Take for example this amazing artwork by artist David Hockney: he took a photo of his painting “A Bigger Splash” and then digitally added color gradients to it, effectively creating an entirely new piece of work without ever using a brush or paint!

Art is a reflection of society and humanity as a whole. It can be used to capture the beauty in everyday life, or it can be used for political statements that speak to what’s happening in the world around us. With new technology available, artists are able to create pieces with deeper meaning. They’re able to work more quickly and easily than ever before, which has led to some incredibly-rad artwork! We’ll show you some examples below so you get an idea of what we mean.

New York City

The New York City skyline is one of the most iconic in the world. It’s hard to believe that it was only 10 years ago when I first stepped foot on its soil. But there’s so much more than these popular tourist destinations with so many other sites well worth exploring. So if you’re looking for some inspiration, look no further!

Many people don’t know the history of New York City, but it is rich and full of life. The first European to set foot in what would become New York was Giovanni da Verrazano, an Italian explorer who sailed for France. His voyage lasted from April 16 until September 15 1524. It started in Brittany and went all the way down to Florida before returning back up north where he landed at present day New York harbor. This blog post will discuss some facts about NYC that may have been forgotten or are not as well known by many citizens today!

Chicago is a place of rich culture and diversity, with beautiful architecture. This blog post will explore some of the best art that Chicago has to offer. The first gallery I want to mention is the Art Institute of Chicago, which houses around 300K works of art in different mediums including paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures from old masters like Rembrandt and van Gogh as well as contemporary artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe. Another great museum is the Museum of Contemporary Art which displays modern day artwork by both internationally recognized artists and emerging talent from across the U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Miami is a city in Florida and is the capital of Miami-Dade County. It’s not just about beaches, sunsets, and gorgeous weather though. The city has a lot to offer with its culture, history, food and nightlife. If you’re looking for an exciting vacation spot that offers plenty of opportunity for relaxation or adventure, then Miami might be your perfect destination!

San Francisco

San Francisco is a city of many cultures, people and events. It’s the 8th largest city in America with a population just under 800,000. From Fisherman’s Wharf to Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz Island you’ll find something new around every corner. The “City by the Bay” has been home to some of the world’s most famous writers, artists and musicians including: Jack London, Mark Twain, George Sterling, Robert Louis Stevenson and Alfred Hitchcock among others; as well as being one of our country’s first ports for trade westward. San Francisco was also named one of the top 10 cities in North America for quality-of-life by Mercer Consulting (2016).

Painting the Town Rembrandt: A Curated Tour of Dutch Masterpieces

The Dutch Golden Age was a time of artistic and scientific brilliance. Artists such as Rembrandt van Rijn, Johannes Vermeer, Jan Steen, and Pieter de Hooch created masterpieces that still inspire awe today. What is less known about this period is the fact that many artists travelled throughout Europe to study different styles of painting in order to develop their own unique style. We will explore some highlights from this rich era in art history by looking at paintings from the Netherlands’ most famous painters.

This blog post will take you on an exploration of Dutch Masterpieces through paintings by several artists including Rembrandt van Rijn, Johannes Vermeer, Jan Steen, and Pieter de Hooch.

Would you like to go on a tour of Dutch Masterpieces? Join us as we take a curated tour of some of the best and most well known paintings from this era. We will start with Rembrandt’s The Night Watch, but be prepared for more than just that one painting! You’ll get an overview of many different aspects in the art world including techniques, styles, and colors. This is going to be an experience you won’t want to miss out on! Here at has some more information on a curated tour of dutch masterpieces.

One of the most famous painters in history, Rembrandt van Rijn, is known for his dramatic use of light and shadow. This tour will take you to some of his greatest works in Holland’s museums. We’ll start at the Mauritshuis where you’ll see a self-portrait that was created during one of the artist’s periods when he painted mostly Biblical scenes. Afterward we’ll head over to Het Loo Palace which houses two paintings by him: “The Education Of The Virgin” and “The Return Of The Prodigal Son”. You won’t want to miss this!

What is a Dutch Masterpiece

Arguably the most common use of a Dutch Master painting is in modern day advertising. It is thought that this style of painting originated in Holland and was brought to America by the colonists. A few famous examples are paintings by Vincent Van Gogh, Vermeer, and Rembrandt. This type of art can be seen on television commercials for pharmaceuticals, alcohol, furniture companies or even car manufacturers. Oftentimes these ads will include a still image from a well-known painting with an overlayed logo or slogan written on top to create an emotional response as opposed to just selling the product outright.

A Dutch Masterpiece is a type of art that has been created by the Dutch people. These paintings are usually done in oil paint and are typically realistic, depicting everyday life. The Dutch Masters were famous for their use of light, realism, and detail. Some examples of these artists include Vermeer, Rembrandt van Rijn, Jan Steen and many more!

Dutch Masters in the Rijksmuseum

The Rijksmuseum is a Dutch national museum in Amsterdam. It has one of the largest and most important art collections in the world. The collection includes more than 100,000 drawings, paintings, prints, photographs and sculptures from artists like Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-69), Vincent van Gogh (1853-90) and Johannes Vermeer (1632-75).

The building itself is worth seeing as it was designed by architect Pierre Cuypers who also designed the town hall. It’s a mix of styles with elements such as red bricks, yellow tiles on roofs and sandstone carvings that remind you of traditional Dutch architecture.

The Netherlands houses one of the most extensive collections of Dutch artworks. The museum is renowned for its paintings by Johannes Vermeer and Rembrandt van Rijn. One of the greatest painters in Dutch history, Johannes Vermeer’s “The Milkmaid” is a rare example of his work on display at the museum. His painting, “Girl with a Pearl Earring,” has become iconic around the world since it was made famous through Tracy Chevalier’s eponymous novel and film adaptation starring Scarlett Johansson and Colin Firth.

The Night Watch by Rembrandt van Rijn

The Night Watch, a painting by Rembrandt van Rijn, is one of the most iconic paintings in the history of art. The painting was commissioned for a group called “The Company of Captain Frans Banning Cocq and Lieutenant Willem van Ruytenburch” who were known as “The Night Watch” because they would meet at night to train before going off to battle.

The Night Watch is a 1642 painting by Dutch painter Rembrandt van Rijn, which hangs in the Louvre Museum. Most art critics agree that it is one of his most dramatic and ambitious works. It depicts a moment from the Bible when Jesus told his disciples to stay awake while he prayed at Gethsemane. The painting shows thirteen figures: Christ; three soldiers who are asleep on duty; two men who are praying and pointing towards heaven; five sleeping soldiers, and four people waking up.     This blog post will explore what went into this masterpiece, as well as why it has been such an influential piece for so many years after its creation date!

Jan Steen’s Merry Company at Table

Jan Steen’s Merry Company at Table is one of the most popular paintings in the National Gallery. It depicts a group of peasants from Holland around a table enjoying food, drink and conversation. On closer inspection you’ll notice that this painting also contains many symbols and hidden meanings that offer an insight into Dutch culture during the 17th century. The painting was created in 1660 to celebrate Jan Steen’s return from Italy where he studied Renaissance art techniques which can be seen in his use of perspective and light/shadows to create depth within the composition.

The Family That Looks More for One Another Than They Do Together

It’s been said that family is the most important thing, but for a lot of families, it seems like the only time they get together anymore is when one of them dies. Family gatherings are often riddled with uncomfortable silences and fraught with anxiety about what to say next. But there may be a way to break this cycle of awkwardness- look at each other more than you talk to each other!

An article in the New York Times by Claire Cain Miller discusses how families are spending less time together. With the media and technology constantly at our fingertips, a lot of families are looking for one another on social media instead of spending quality time with each other. This can lead to many problems like an increase in depression and anxiety, as well as feelings of loneliness which are then passed onto their children.

When people feel lonely they turn to food or alcohol, which typically leads to weight gain and addiction issues. The best way to combat this is by having family dinners where everyone spends quality time together while enjoying healthy foods that will help them live longer lives! Here at has more guides to the family that looks more for one another than they do together.

The family’s favorite pastime is to play games together

The family’s favorite pastime is to play games together. Whether it be card, board or video games as a whole the family enjoys them all. They do their best to get together and enjoy some time with each other on a regular basis. It has been shown that gaming can have many benefits such as teaching life lessons, fostering creativity among others!

The game they are most passionate about is Monopoly. It brings out old memories from childhood while challenging them in new ways as grown-ups.

They are always willing to help each other out

I have a lot of friends that are always willing to help each other out. One friend will cook dinner for another, someone else will offer advice on how to dress for an interview or share their knowledge about marketing. I think these friendships are so valuable because they provide the support and encouragement people need when life gets too tough. This is why I am writing this blog post-to tell you all about my favorite friendship rituals!

They have a strong sense of unity and love for one another

The story of the Fogle family is one that has been told many times. It’s a story of love and unity, and it is a story that will be passed down for generations to come. This family has lived through hard times, but they have always found their way back together. They are strong because they care about each other, and because they know that there is no one else who can take on what needs to be done.    I hope you enjoy learning more about this incredible family!

The family of six live in a small, one-story house. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Despite the size of their living space, they’ve never felt cramped or confined. They have a strong sense of unity and love for one another that makes them feel like there is plenty of room to breathe.

Their home is filled with laughter, happiness, and joy

The best thing about growing up is that you get to experience all the different seasons of life. As kids, we spend our days outside in summertime playing games and making new friends or inside reading books by ourselves. The winter brings sledding and snowball fights with your siblings while the fall has us picking apples off trees and pumpkin patches. But one season stands out more than any other-the spring! This time of year reminds me of when I was little. My dad would take me to watch baseball games on Saturdays, and then we’d stop for ice cream before heading home.

The home where I live is filled with laughter, happiness and joy. My parents are so happy together. They have been married for over 30 years now and they still love to spend time together. They make me feel so loved and I know that they will always be there for me when I need them.

The Good The Bad and the Ugly: A Dad’s Perspective on Fatherhood

I have been a father for the past 12 years. My wife and I had our daughter when she was in high school. It took me a while to adjust, but now I love it! I will be honest, there are times where things get tough (the good, the bad and the ugly). But at the end of day my favorite part of being a dad is coming home from work to see my two girls waiting for me with smiles on their faces.

I’m going to be honest with you. It’s hard being a dad, and I’ve done my fair share of bad parenting. But it’s also amazing and worth every second! If you’re a parent, or just thinking about becoming one, this blog post is for you!

I’m a dad who loves being a dad. I love my kids and the time I spend with them, but as any parent knows, there’s definite good mixed in with the bad and ugly. Raising children can be hard work, but it is also an incredibly rewarding experience. Parenting takes patience and perseverance – two qualities that never run out when you are raising your own little human beings. Muminkaffe has some more information about a dad’s perspective on fatherhood.

The day I met my son was the best day of my life. The second best day was when he told me for the first time that he loved me. The third best day is everytime he tells me now. He’s growing up way too fast and there are days where it feels like everything sucks, but those are few and far between because 99% of the time being a dad rocks!

The good – what’s the best thing about being a dad

I often find myself reflecting on the best thing about being a dad. It can be hard at times, juggling work and family commitments and sometimes it feels like I’m not giving enough time to either. Then I look into my son’s eyes when he is smiling or laughing and all of that goes away for a while. There are so many great things about being a dad but ultimately I think it’s the little moments in his life that are probably the most rewarding – those first steps, his first word, his first day of school. These memories will last me forever.

The best thing about being a dad is the unconditional love I have for my daughter. It’s an indescribable feeling that makes me happier than anything else in this world. Now when she wakes up from a nap, it’s not just her who has to wake up and go through the day with sleep-wrinkled clothes and bed head; there’s another person beside her who needs to be ready to face the world too. And as long as I’m around, that will never change.”

The bad – what are some challenges in fatherhood

Fatherhood is hard work. Taking care of a new infant can be daunting, with all the sleepless nights and feeding schedules. The challenge doesn’t stop once they’re out of diapers though; there are so many other things to worry about as your child grows up: potty training, homework help, teaching them right from wrong…to name just a few!  But that’s not what this blog post is about. This post is for all those dads who have been on their own from day one – you know who you are! There are some challenges that we face in fatherhood that moms don’t share with us either because they’ve never experienced it or maybe they just don’t want to admit how tough it can be at times!

Fathers have their own set of challenges when it comes to parenting. In this blog post, I am going to talk about some of the common challenges fathers face in fatherhood and how they can be overcome.

The ugly – do you have any regrets as a parent

There are so many things I regret as a parent. There is that time when I yelled at my son for not eating his dinner and now he refuses to eat anything but pasta, no matter how much we offer him. Or the time I was sick of hearing my daughter crying so I threw her up in the air a few times before putting her back down on the floor where she continued to cry. Those were just some of the examples from our last month alone! It’s true that there are days when it feels like we’re all going crazy and nothing is working out for us or with us.

I’m not going to lie – I have regrets. Being a parent isn’t easy, and it’s usually messy. There are hard decisions that need to be made every day that may or may not make you feel good about yourself later on in the day. We all do our best as parents and learning is a continual process for all of us!
